in http://news.gmane.org/find-root.php?message_id=%3c455BFE2B.9050407%40gmail.com%3e rene posted a patch that resolves some earlier ugly code in gcc.jam. However, that fix seems to have stalled because of a communication error between Volodya and Rene, or at the very least, a dropped thread. Please work it out
